Welcome to

Tisbury Memory Group

A voluntary-run group that provides stimulation and fun for those with memory loss.

We are here for your wellbeing

Do you forget things?

Do you worry that your memory is not as good as it was?

Do you know or care for someone with memory loss?

Fun, Welcoming Sessions

The group is open to everyone from Tisbury and surrounding villages living with memory loss.

We have a great time with a full programme of information sessions and activities.

We learn something new every time we meet.

We laugh, make friends and catch up over tea and homemade cake.

Short Term Memory Loss

This can be caused by old age, stroke, dementia, anaesthesia and the list goes on…

It is scientifically proven to be extremely important for people with memory loss not to hide away at home. It is essential for both memory and wellbeing.

Meetings

Hinton Hall, Church Street, Tisbury, SP3 6NH (next to St John’s Church) is our base. There is a large car park, easy access to the hall where we hold our meetings and there are toilets for the disabled. Meetings are held alternate Wednesdays from 10 AM to 12 noon, unless otherwise advised – please see our Diary page. It is also an easy stroll to our sensory garden by following the river path towards Tisbury Station from the car park.
